Hey hey! Hope you're all doing great as we get dangerously close to mid-2019. MID-2019?!!! These updates always serve to remind me that we have no handle on time...no matter how tightly we try to hold on to it.

Eeek!

So beside sitting around watching the months tick away and spending a bit of time earlier in the year visiting friends and family in Australia, what ELSE have you been up to, PT?

Thanks for asking: actually been some crazy busy times - recently shot a short film entitled BY NIGHT written and directed by Joel DeMay, with a team of brilliant young filmmakers. BTS pic of my bored-office-worker-by-day, street-art-vigilante-by-night character above. This was one exceptionally positive experience for me...despite long overnight hours and the just-arrived-back-from-Australia-jetlag, I was fortunate to combine acting with my martial arts experience in an epic fight scene with Bryan Forrest and Aaron Hill. Whilst wearing a paint respirator mask. #Winning.

Also been exiting to have our original online series CANDICE nominated for New Media Star Best Comedy at the 2019 Miami Web Festival. Been selected for a few fests thus far, and more currently pending. If you've not seen it yet, or are short on time I've clipped together a compilation of some of the best scenes with my character from the show, Stephen Jones. Get your dose of awkwardly charming Australian Catalog Model HERE

While we're on that topic, I've also given my Youtube channel and Vid section on my website a bit of an overhaul. Check them out for additional scenes and clips of previous work including stuff from the series CLASSIC ALICE.

Oh, and I decided to make the beard thing official and got a few new bearded shots to show how diverse and wise I am. #WiseNotOld.

Final piece of news is that I've started working with Sandra Berney at Stellar Artists Management. Find her CONTACT info on my website.

That's me for now. Hope you're all finding happiness and success, and enjoy the coming summer weather!

Cheers,

PT.

<![CDATA[2019: Year of the Awesome New Poster / New Headshots.]]>Fri, 08 Feb 2019 20:39:20 GMThttp://paul-todd.com/news/2019-year-of-the-awesome-new-poster-new-headshots
Happy New Year, everyone!!!

So it's been a month (plus some!) already...but I figured I best allow you some time to adjust to 2019 before I hit you with this AWESOME NEW POSTER for an incredibly fun film I worked on last year, entitled Lost Angeles. I couldn't be more impressed with the work writer / director, Joel Searls and team put into the poster, and can't wait to see the final cut of the film.

Also thought it was time to shoot a couple of new actor headshots featuring the great beard of wiseness (or perhaps just whiteness). Bring on the gritty, brooding character roles!

Finally, added a few new pics and video (including the 'Stephen' Promo from my series Candice) to the website - check 'em out here.

I'm hoping everyone is off to a brilliant 2019 and staying warm (or cool if you're reading from Australia), happy and healthy.

Take care,

PT.

See, I told you...
Hope you've all had a great 2018...instead of going on about how unbelievable it is that 2018 is almost over (it IS unbelievable, but this is getting old), I'm just going to wish you all the very best for the holiday season. And 2019: BRING IT, BABY!

Stay safe, happy and healthy.

PT.

PS - Looking for something super fun to do these holidays? Something that definitely doesn't involve me promoting a thing I did? Then check out www.youtube.com/CandiceSeries for the craziest online series ever set in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Oh, and I'm in it. I lied...no Christmas presents for me.

<![CDATA[Candice: The Series IS HERE! / Lost Angeles]]>Sun, 17 Jun 2018 21:39:46 GMThttp://paul-todd.com/news/candice-the-series-is-here-lost-angeles
Exciting news...season one of the original online series, Candice that we've worked so hard on for the past year is NOW AVAILABLE to binge watch on Youtube @ www.youtube.com/CandiceSeries. Developed and Produced by Sarah Levin, Rayshell Curtiss and Myself, Candice is a wacky comedy about finding love, success and turtles. I play Stephen - a lovable Australian dude who has moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana to reach the next level of his catalog-modeling career. But despite his success and possible vaseline-addiction, he realizes that real love is difficult to find. Hilarity ensues.

Take a look and feel free to let me know what you think in the Youtube comments section.

In other news, I'm shooting an awesome action short entitled Lost Angeles with Writer / Director Joel Searls later this month, and getting closer to returning home to Australia to shoot the feature film, The Nullarbor later this year.

I hope everyone is doing great, and keeping busy, healthy and happy.

Cheers,

PT.

<![CDATA[2018 in the works: The Long Dig, Candice, The Nullarbor...]]>Sun, 18 Feb 2018 23:28:38 GMThttp://paul-todd.com/news/2018-in-the-works-the-long-dig-candice-the-nullarborWith 2018 well under way (Happy New Year and all, and I hope it's going great for you so far) I wanted to write a quick update.

Just got back to LA after spending a few weeks in Australia, and now hard at work finishing our new original series 'Candice' (in which I play a wacky Aussie Catalogue Model, believe it or not...) for release in the coming weeks. We'll soon start the pre-release promotion campaign, so you'll hear more - much more - about it momentarily. If you'd like to follow the series for the time being, find it on Facebook and Twitter

Also recently shot an incredible film entitled 'The Long Dig', (based on a cool upcoming game) with Kate Hackett, Sarah Cortez, Cliff Simon, and one super talented crew. Visually stunning stuff and super excited to see the results once Post-Production is complete. The Long Dig tweets stuff here, and Facebooks stuff here. Incredibly moody shot of me trying to look serious from the shoot, below.

Finally, still gearing up to shoot the Australian Feature 'The Nullarbor', set for Production later in 2018. Can't wait to head back home for work.

Take care, and all the best,

PT.

<![CDATA[New website, Candice and The Nullarbor]]>Fri, 06 Oct 2017 07:00:00 GMThttp://paul-todd.com/news/ptnews100617Good news, everyone! paul-todd.com has been completely redesigned and is now up and running. If you're reading this, you're very possibly at paul-todd.com right now - feel free to leave a comment and let me know what you think. I've also updated my reel - see it here: paul-todd.com/photos-and-video

MEANWHILE, things have been busy this year. Our new original series Candice is in post-production and close to completion - can't wait to get it online for you all to see! We've worked really hard to make it a fun and easy short series to watch, and hope to have it released in the next 4-5 weeks. Some hilarious performances from Rayshell Curtiss, Sarah Levin and maybe even myself in there.

I've also been cast to play the lead in The Nullarbor - an Australian Feature Film slated to shoot in Melbourne and Outback South Australia soon. Met with the Director and some of the cast for a rehearsal during my recent trip back home, and excited to delve further into it. More to come on that later.

Other than that, we seem to be hurtling towards the end of 2017 already. Crazy! Reminds me that we have to keep pushing and working hard to create and do what makes us happy in this insane world.

Be safe, everyone,

PT.
